Due to medical conditions or aging your client’s bathroom may no longer be an accessible or safe environment. Modifications to the bathroom may be required to enable your client to remain independent in their own home.

Bathroom modifications can range from installing grab rails, anti-scald devices, or weighted shower curtains to a full bathroom remodel, depending on the client’s requirements.

We will work with therapists and clients to provide the most suitable solution.

¼ Turn Tap Set

As opposed to the taps which require multiple full twists to control the flow of water, lever taps are a quarter turn ergonomic solution to traditional twist handles and provide easy and comfortable maneuvering. These are available for sink sets as well as wall sets.
This installation affects only the handle swap over and, in some cases, replacement of spouts without requiring alteration of any plumbing or risking tile damage.

Shower Base Inserts

Shower base inserts are an affordable solution for safe and easy access into showers for the elderly and disabled. Shower base inserts eliminate the tripping hazard of a shower base lip.

Weighted Shower Curtains

Weighted shower curtains and straight or curved tracks are available in various sizes and are customisable to suit all baths and shower spaces as required.

Fold Down Shower Seats

Bathroom chairs and seats help to support people experiencing loss of balance, decreased strength or inability to stand for long periods of time. This fold down shower seat is designed for individuals weighing up to 120kg. It is wall mounted with two support legs which automatically position themselves when the seat is dropped down from a folded position. 450mm and 600mm sizes available.

Therm-Oz

This converts two individual hot and cold water outlets into one mixer tap. However, unlike standard mixer taps, it allows for control over the water temperature. Thermostatic mixers can be installed for individual fixtures. It is a cost-effective solution to make existing taps or fixtures such as a shower safe from scalding.

Handheld Shower Hoses

Handheld shower hoses can be installed with or replaced with fixed shower heads for more accessible showering with the addition on a weight bearing grab rail to provide further supports in the shower area for the participant.

Toilets

Toilets with an over-height design provide a more comfortable seating position, making it ideal for users of all ages, including those with mobility challenges. Available heights: 410mm standard | 460mm | 485mm.

Bidets

The popularity of the bidet in the western world is rapidly catching on as people become more widely travelled. Property marketers of upscale developments are choosing them for their projects, retirement villages install them, and they are used for a significant number of medical conditions and the everyday family purchases to experience a better and more hygienic form of cleansing. Of course, they have great appeal to those interested in our environment as the use of toilet paper can become zero.
