Accessibility, safety, and comfort in your own home.
Explore our accessible ramp solutions!
Facilitating safe and convenient entry and exit from your home, whether on foot, with assistance, or using a wheelchair, is essential.
People experiencing impaired mobility often require access ramps which are not always considered when designing and building homes. A ramp will maximise a client’s independence by improving access in and out of the house. Accessibility reduces the risk of social isolation and promotes general health and well-being.
In consultation with therapists and clients, we will design the ramp to accommodate the client’s mobility requirements whilst ensuring the solution will blend with the aesthetics of their home.
Our access ramps are constructed to comply with Australian Standards 1428.1-2009.
Timber framed (preferably structural treated
pine) with a trafficable surface of timber decking type (preferably merbau decking board – reeded side down).
Additional features include:
- 90mm x 19mm merbau lined decking – reeded side down
- kerb railing
- galvanized/stainless steel handrailing
- aluminium transition plates (if required)
Composite decking requires less maintenance than timber to stay looking great. Using up to 90% reclaimed and recycled inputs, making it the smart timber decking alternative.
Designed for Australian conditions being durable and hardwearing. Fully compliant and certified to Australian Standards with an R11/P5 slip rating.
Made from 100% recycled rubber – custom made to order & fit all access areas.
Slip resistant & UV resistant – perfect for outdoor use.
Manufactured to Australian Standards 1428. 1-2009 or as per the occupational therapist’s recommendation.
